Erik founded Sorensen Communications in 1999 as a multilingual, international marketing and business development agency specializing in designing and implementing integrated marketing platforms. Over the past 20+ years as CEO of Sorensen Communications, he and his stellar team have conceptualized, negotiated and implemented 100’s of comprehensive marketing initiatives for corporations such as Sony, HP, PepsiCo, SAP, Qualcomm, Frito Lay, P&G and Visa in addition to multiple endorsement deals for international recording artists and professional athletes.
Erik Sorensen is a co-founding partner and executive director of Foil International, LLC, a global leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of the world’s most bespoke alpine skis and accessories (www.foilskis.com). Erik has been instrumental in establishing and managing Foil’s operational structure while simultaneously leading the company’s marketing, communication and sales strategies.
Prior to establishing Sorensen Communications, Erik was the Director of Latin American & Caribbean operations with IMG (International Management Group), the world’s largest sports & entertainment marketing agency. In this capacity, Erik established the regional headquarters in Miami and oversaw the group’s developmental efforts throughout the entire territory.
Before IMG, Erik held upper-level international sales & management positions with Emerson Electric, Illinois Tool Works (ITW) and Komatsu.
Erik studied Business Administration at Houston Baptist University while playing NCAA Division I tennis on full scholarship. He then completed his MBA at CCU, Santa Ana, California with a concentration in international finance.
